Future Networks 5th FP7 Concertation Meeting - brussels, Belgium - January 2010

The purpose of the Concertation meeting is to bring together the ongoing FP7 projects funded under the Network of the Future objective and facilitate exchange of results and achievements, and build consensus. The Network of the Future projects are organised into three clusters: Future Internet Technologies (FI Cluster), Radio Access and Spectrum (RAS Cluster) and Converged and Optical Networks (CaON Cluster). In this folder you will find the slides presenting the project at that meeting.

24th Meeting Wireless World Research Forum - PENANG, MALAYSIA - April 2010

The objective of this research forum, organised under the aegis of the European Commission and of the ASEAN Secretariat, is to more precisely evaluate the research topics which could usefully be explored through joint projects on this theme, namely in the framework of the European Commission’s FP7 research funding programme. At this WWRF meeting, working group sessions continuing the work of WWRF on radio, network and service perspective complemented with series of plenary sessions. Solution for tackling the humanity issues and future challenges in global agendas for borderless communication will enhance quality of life for sustainable tomorrow.

C2POWER was invited to present a global overview of energy saving techniques based on the cooperative and cognitive paradigms. Ayman Radwan [IT] represented the C2POWER Consortium as invited speaker.

 
 

Invited Talks - Macquarie University, Sydney and university of melbourne, melbourne, australia- April 2010

A presentation mentioning the C2POWER project has been scheduled to be delivered by Kandeepan Sithamparanathan [CREATE-NET] at the Macquarie University, Sydney during his participation to the IEEE WCNC conference in Sydney, April 2010. The seminar outlined the enabling technologies for the C2POWER project such as cognitive and cooperative techniques for power efficient communications. A subsequent presentation was given by Kandeepan Sithamparanathan [CREATE-NET] at the University of Melbourne.

CCW is the annual flagship workshop of the Technical Committee on Computer Communications (TCCC) of the IEEE Communications Society.
